Well, after almost two years, I decided it was time to update my livejournal again. Now that anyone reads it or anything. At least as far as I know.
Anyway, just last week we finally got cable internet, so now I can get online easier, and hopefully keep up with my journal.
Let's see. What's happened in the past few years. I sort of have a new job. The last time I updated my journal, I was working at the New River Library. A few months ago I transferred to the library in Dade City, since it is closer to home. I have less of a drive that way. There was another reason, as well, but I don't want to get into that right now.
I actually had a good day at work today. Usually the afternoons at Hugh Embry are so crazy I can barely stand them. However, today, I think people are starting to travel for the Christmas holdidays or something. I managed to get all the books that came in today put away, and shelf read half of the 900s in the juvenile fiction section. There was less of a crowd waiting to get on the computers today, and I was able to hear myself think for a change. The people that hang around waiting to use computers are too much sometimes. We have a crowd of Goths that hang around all afternoon on the weekdays as well, but they stay outside a lot.
I can't really think of anything else to post about, but eventually I might get into some of the other things that have happened in the past few years.
