Story Conversation-Story Recap
Feb. 18th, 2002 12:43 amgeneral_skieblue: Hi.
annabella: Hi, didn't my message get through?
general_skieblue: No. I kind of got disconnected for a minute.
annabella: Oh. Well, I just asked how the story group was going?
general_skieblue: Well, we haven't had much time to work lately, because we spend most of our time together discussing other things. I've kind of worked the series we're writing about into my own stories, too. And, I have a new favorite character.
I seem to end up with new favorite characters pretty often, don't I?
annabella: lol Yep, but that's a good thing. You never get tired of characters. Who's your new favorite?
general_skieblue: Well, I don't think you know anything about the series he's from, since I have mentioned the series before. (Well, actually he's from another series connected to the series I mentioned before, but that's not the point.) Anyway, his name is Wesley.
annabella: lol Oh, okay.
general_skieblue: I knew about him before I knew much about the show he's from, actually. I saw a comparision between Wesley and one of my other favorite characters. I haven't been able to find that comparision again, though.
Anyway, I think I'll attempt to change the subject. I've been doing some more work on that crossover fanfiction story I might have mentioned occasionally.
annabella: Oh, who?
general_skieblue: I just changed the subject. I would actually prefer not to mention that comparision until I find it again, because I'm not sure I remember correctly, although in the first six episodes I saw him, he did remind me of one of my other favorites characters. Or at least, his attitude reminded me of one of my other favorite characters.
annabella: Oh, okay with me.
general_skieblue: I just don't want to talk too much about him, yet. Especially, since you don't know anything about the show he's from. That means I can't exactly ask for help with stories, doesn't it.
annabella: Yeah, I figured that was one of the reasons.
general_skieblue: So, I guess the idea would be to discuss other stories. Like maybe finishing our talk from last week, for something.
annabella: Whatever you're up for, is fine with me.
general_skieblue: Okay. I need to find where we left off. I think I talked about the background of Kris and Cordelia, and how they defeated Joich the first time with the help of a group of adventurers. I think I also mentioned that they were still children at the time, right?
annabella: Yeah.
general_skieblue: Okay. Well, do you remember the story of Minitar and Crystal. (And also what I said about Amalia.)
annabella: Not really. I can't remember exactly. So, you can give a quick review.
general_skieblue: Okay. Minitar and Crystal were in love, but Crystal was sent on a mission to contact the storytellers. She met Joich and was seduced by him. Crsytal ended up having a child. Joich killed her, and then took the child, giving him the name Kristian. Meanwhile, Minitar had had a falling out with the Jedi Council and formed his own group of followers, including Crystals' twin sister Amalia. He forced Amalia to get married to a man named Stonewall, believeing that their children would be the key to getting revenge on Joich. Stonewall and Amalia had two children, Gabriel and Cordelia. At some point, some of Joich's followers attacked this settlement, and Stonewall and Gabriel were killed, and Cordelia was captured.
That was a lot of information, wasn't it?
annabella: Ah. Okay. Yeah, very interesting story.
general_skieblue: Well, anyway, the two children, Kris and Cordelia were prisoners of Joich for three years, before being rescued by a group of adventurers who helped them fulfill the prophecy to defeat Joich. However, before they got to the point where they had completed the whole prophecy, the group of adventurers was joined by another member.
That other person who joined them was Amalia. The group noticed her resemblence to the children, and the whole story, or most of it, kind of came out. Amalia did lie about part of the story. She knew that Joich was Kristian's father, but she never told him. Instead, she invented a story that she told to the group and to the chidren.
annabella: Really interesting.
general_skieblue: Did you read the last part I sent, about how Amalia lied to the children?
annabella: Shoot! BRB Sons are fighting!!
general_skieblue: Okay.
Let me know when youcome back on.
annabella: Ok, back.
general_skieblue: Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't see the message. Ar e you still there?
I had the volume on my computer turned down, so I didn't know when you sent a message earlier.
I need to get off now. I'll talk to you another night.
